Meshtastic
The short paragraph from the meshtastic.org landing page describing what it is:
An open source, off-grid, decentralized mesh network built to run on affordable, low-power devices. No cell towers. No internet. Just pure peer-to-peer connectivity.
Goals
Long term there are two different goals I would like to achieve.
- Setup off grid communication between my house, my brother's house and the compound.
- Create a sensor network for the garden
